Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 27, 2025
At CleanYourSOL.com, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency in how we handle your data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it while you use our decentralized application (dApp) to close empty Solana token accounts and reclaim SOL, as well as our use of analytics and advertising services.
1. Information We Collect
Wallet Public Key
When you connect a Solana-compatible wallet (e.g., Phantom, Solflare, OKX Wallet), we collect your public key (wallet address) to process transactions on the Solana blockchain.
- Purpose: To execute transactions for closing empty SPL token accounts and to display your claim history in the dApp interface.
- Storage: Your public key is securely stored in our encrypted MongoDB database to track your transaction history.
Transaction History
We collect and store the following data related to your transactions:
- Transaction Hash (txHash): To verify transactions on the Solana blockchain.
- Token Account IDs: List of closed token accounts.
- SOL Amount Reclaimed: Calculated based on the number of closed accounts (approximately 0.00163 SOL per account).
- Referral Code (if applicable): To track rewards for our referral program.
- Timestamp: To display the date and time of your transactions.
Purpose: This data enables us to show your claim history, provide global statistics, and manage the referral program.
Storage: Transaction data is stored securely in our encrypted MongoDB database and is not shared with third parties unless required by law.
Analytics and Advertising Data
We use third-party services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and TikTok to enhance user experience and promote our dApp.
- Google Analytics: Collects anonymous usage data (e.g., page views, session duration, device type) to understand how users interact with our site.
- Google Ads: Uses cookies and tracking pixels to deliver personalized ads and measure ad performance.
- TikTok: Uses a tracking pixel to analyze user interactions for advertising purposes on TikTok’s platform.
Note: This data is anonymized and not linked to your public key or transaction history. We do not collect personally identifiable information such as names or emails through these services.
No Sensitive Personal Information
We do not collect or store sensitive personal information such as your name, email, phone number, private keys, or seed phrases. All wallet interactions occur locally in your browser or wallet extension via the Solana blockchain.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Facilitate the closing of empty Solana token accounts to reclaim SOL rent.
- Display your transaction history and claim statistics in the dApp interface.
- Manage and track rewards for our referral program (if you participate).
- Analyze anonymized usage data via Google Analytics to improve our dApp’s functionality.
- Deliver targeted advertising through Google Ads and TikTok to promote CleanYourSOL.com.
- Provide anonymized, aggregated statistics (e.g., total accounts claimed, total SOL reclaimed).
3. Data Security
We implement robust measures to protect your data:
- Encryption: All stored data (public keys, transaction history) is encrypted in our MongoDB database to prevent unauthorized access.
- Access Control: Only authorized backend systems can access stored data, with strict access controls in place.
- No Third-Party Sharing: We do not share your public key or transaction history with third parties, except as required by law.
- Analytics Security: Data collected by Google Analytics, Google Ads, and TikTok is anonymized and handled according to their respective privacy policies.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience and deliver targeted advertising:
- Cookies: Small data files stored in your browser to track session information and preferences.
- Google Analytics: Tracks anonymous data (e.g., pages visited, time spent) to analyze site performance.
- Google Ads/TikTok Pixel: Tracks user interactions to optimize ad campaigns and measure ad effectiveness.
- Opt-Out: You can disable cookies in your browser settings or use tools like Google Ads Settings or TikTok Privacy Settings to control your ad experience.
5. Your Choices and Rights
You have control over your data:
- Data Deletion: Request the deletion of your public key and transaction history by contacting us at [email protected]. Note that this may limit your ability to view claim history.
- Data Access: Request access to your stored data (e.g., transaction history) by contacting us.
- Cookies and Ads: Disable cookies or opt out of personalized ads via your browser settings or third-party tools (Google Ads Settings, TikTok Privacy Settings).
- Transaction Review: Always review transaction details in your wallet’s Transaction Preview (e.g., Phantom) before signing to ensure safety.
6. Third-Party Services
Our dApp interacts with the following third-party services:
- Solana Blockchain: All transactions are processed on the public Solana blockchain, where your public key and transaction details are visible (e.g., via Solscan.io). We do not control this data.
- Wallet Providers: We rely on wallet providers like Phantom, Solflare, or OKX Wallet for transaction signing. Review their privacy policies for details.
- Google Analytics/Google Ads: Collect anonymized usage and advertising data. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- TikTok: Collects anonymized data for ad performance. See TikTok’s Privacy Policy.
7. Compliance with Regulations
We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Your public key, transaction data, and analytics data may be considered personal information, and we handle it with care to ensure:
- Transparency: This policy clearly outlines what we collect and why.
- Data Minimization: We collect only the data necessary for dApp functionality and advertising.
- User Rights: You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective Date." Continued use of our dApp constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
